The first day as a FloraBella Webcam model

The first days of any new stage are usually unforgettable: the first time at university, the first day at work, but for the first day as a camgirl you are not prepared for anything, you don't know what to expect, what to do, what to say, how things work, most likely, you are not sure of anything.

I'll tell you the story of my first day of work as a camgirl. That day I wore my best lingerie, thinking about the famous saying: "the first impression is the one that counts." I was physically prepared from head to toe, but mentally I was blank.

I remember that I was lucky enough to meet a very dear girl in the studio. She gave me an induction on what I had to do. She was more shy than me, so she explained to me in the most innocent way what my duties were. She explained to me how to enter the pages, how the software worked, what a tip was, what a private message was, where I should write, how the chat worked, the emails, etc., etc. The truth is that the first day is a lot of information for your head to handle.

I entered the page that they assigned me to work on and suddenly I get a private message, which is when a member of the chat takes you to another room with him alone (that is, you go from the public room to the private one). My first reaction was to ask my inductor: - "What do I do?!", to which she replied: - "Take off your clothes!" Of course, I started to take off my clothes like crazy, I think it took me 10 seconds, and suddenly the client left, when I saw that I was no longer in private, I looked around and my tutor had also disappeared.

Generally the first day goes well, because on the page you see a sign that says "new model" (that's how it is on all the pages), it's a way of promoting yourself, it's a push that the pages give you, so a lot of people come to meet the new model, in a way it's the opportunity to feel economically connected.

I learned that people in the chat are kind, they say nice things to you very often, there are many who treat you with respect, it was better than I expected, before I thought I had to interact with rude, crude and uneducated people, but no, it was not like that, obviously there are those who insult you, but as a model you have the option to get them out of your room with a click 🙂

As for the language, well, I worked on a Spanish website, so I spoke in Spanish a lot, my confidence in English went away, I didn't speak, I only wrote a few words, but the times they took me to private (maybe 3) were clients who wrote in English, so it is important to have a very good basic understanding of this language, there was a lot of vocabulary that I didn't understand, many doubts about many things, but it's like everything, it's a matter of time to resolve it little by little.

In my case, I left happy because I earned double my pay at a normal job. Of course, the next day your hair hurts because you dance, you move all the time and of course, since your nerves get the better of you, I think you generate physical pain from the stress and uncertainty of that first day.

My advice? Relax on that day, don't do anything you don't want to do, you're not obligated to do anything, interact a lot with the people who talk to you in the chat, and take things patiently, they (the members) mostly understand that you're new and will be patient with you, of course there are those who want to take advantage of the innocence of a new model, so be very careful with what they propose to you, because you're going to see a lot of that, promises with a lot of zeros, so be very careful not to fall into those games.

From then on the days vary and can become tedious, while you meet people, while you gain experience, I would tell you that the first day does not define everything, you will not know if you are going to be successful or not, I would recommend that you give yourself a month of work and analyze the situation after the first two paychecks, obviously if you earn more than the minimum wage in your respective country, you can consider continuing to work as a camgirl, because the income increases over time, but yes, it is necessary to work at least 6 hours a day, resting 2 days every fortnight, that way you will really know what you can expect, consistency is key in this job.

Similarly, positioning yourself as a model takes months, it can even take more than a year, there are several factors that make this possible.

My first day at work went by calmly, I felt strange about the fact that I was stripping for money and moral questions started to haunt my head, in addition to the fact that only I knew what I was getting into, no one around me knew anything, I went to bed swallowing my day alone, because obviously I was afraid to speak, and that fear was going to do its thing for a long time.
